The Bristol Do is a completely new, free weekend full of open air performance, circus and music entertainment. Events occur between 1pm and 8pm on both days. The festival aims to help link local residential areas with the city centre and to engage anyone interested from local businesses, residents and those travelling from further afield, with high quality performances and arts in the beautiful setting of Bristols Portland Square. There appears to be a variety on offer from aerial performances, to poetry, to dance and music with some acts being outright random and obscure! It is advised by those organising the event that the car is probably the least efficient way to travel as there is no parking provided and the roads are expected to be extremely busy in and out of Bristol due to the opening of Cabot Circus.
