From 28th August until 1st September, Bristol and Bath hosts this years UK School Games where over 1,500 of the UK's top elite young athletes compete. The four day multi-sport event includes hockey, badminton, athletics, fencing, gymnastics, swimming and table tennis, and the young athletes get the opportunity to stay in their own 'Games Village', replicating the experience of athletes at international events such as the Olympic and Paralympic games, which is in fact just around the corner. UK School Games aim to inspire and motivate young people to take part and succeed in sport.
