EDF Energy Bristol Harbourside Festival
The festival is taking place this year over the weekend of Friday 1st August to Sunday 3rd August. You are welcome to join in the fun of Bristol's largest and liveliest harbourside celebrations from 6.30pm until 10pm on Friday, 10am until 10.30pm on Saturday and 10am until 5pm on Sunday. It is taking place at the S.S.Great Britain, the Harbourside and Queens Square and it's free entry. There is an abundance of entertainment including live music, a dance stage and even a street theatre. A wonderful highlight will be the fireworks display that takes place on Saturday night. It involves making use of historic landmarks such as the industrial museum and the cranes which stand in front of it as props for the first time ever so its sure to be big. It's a fantastic way to spend a weekend with family and friends and if your visiting you get to see the hustle and bustle of what Bristol has to offer. There is no better way to see the Harbourside other than when it's littered with brightly decorated boats. There is sure to be food and drink available throughout the festival, and toilets including those for disabled visitors will be provided.
